Exeter Police and Community Choir
About the choir
Exeter Police and Community Choir was originally formed by serving police officers in Exeter in 1963 but for some years has attracted members from the wider community.

The choir has appeared on television and on the radio in previous years. Concerts are performed all over Devon and sometimes farther afield, enabling a host of local organisations to raise funds for their own charities.

The lively repertoire includes spirituals, hymns, songs from musicals and other popular pieces - and, of course, Christmas carols for the December concert.

Rehearsals - currently taking place on Monday evenings at 7.30pm at St. Luke's Church Rooms, Countess Wear, Exeter - run from from September to May. New members are always welcome and no formal auditions are necessary.

If you like singing for pleasure and enjoy good company, then please contact choir secretary Bill Smith on 01626 891933 or email [email protected] for more details - or come along to a choir practice.
